Krav Maga on Fight Quest

We were eagerly anticipating this segment of FIGHT QUEST. We have viewed every segment since this series started, and we have found FIGHT QUEST'S coverage of the different fighting/defense styles very informative and nicely filmed.

We were EXTREMELY disappointed in this KRAV MAGA segment. The entire hour focused on only ONE aspect of our training principals - the stress, brutality, and trauma of multiple attackers. The drills that were shown, although extreme for civilian training, are valid (and valuable) for military preparation. And the mindset of NEVER GIVING UP is as important for civilians as it is for military.

It is unfortunate, however, that all of the solid defense/survival skills that are essential components of the KRAV MAGA system were not shown.

Yes, our training principals are much more aggressive than martial arts ("art" being the operative word), but our civilian students/practioners are NOT subjected to full force strikes and kicks in training. We invite you to come watch (or participate) in our open classes and experience an invigorating and SAFE way to learn how to survive street violence.

I thrive on the fact that the instructors are constantly shaking up the class. We never know what to expect for cardio warmup which is a good thing. Keeps us on our toes. Doesn't let our bodies get into some routine. You guys/lady are doing a bang up job and absolutely love coming to class to see what new technique you are going to teach me.
